So, how can you effectively distance yourself from social media? Here’s how I’ve implemented a log-out habit, which helps me manage my social media use without quitting it entirely. The key is to take small steps and progress at your own pace.

1. Delete Social Media Apps from Your Phone

The first step is to delete social media apps from your smartphone. When apps are readily accessible on your home screen, it’s easy to unconsciously tap them. Removing these apps creates friction and significantly reduces the temptation to check your accounts.
